I am country! I love the country life. Plenty of wide open spaces, no dress code, aromatherapy everywhere, slower living, night lights under the stars, afternoon entertainment smelling fresh cut grass, honeysuckle flowers, hummingbirds humming, horses grazing in the pasture, kids playing in the yard and neighbors waving "Hey y'all" as they drive by! In the country there are fields of dreams and farms, ranches, kids, churches, and faith. Tasting ice-cold watermelon on hot sunny days. These are God’s gifts and His music.

Having grown up in Texas and traveling with my husband, Michael Johnson, through Texas and New Mexico, we decided to return to Michael's childhood home in Hot Springs, Arkansas, three years ago.
I quickly fell in love with Arkansas and its people. The state is full of stunning natural scenery, abundant outdoor activities, excellent restaurants, and a thriving economy. We are now empty nesters living near the largest gated Active Lifestyle community in North America at Hot Springs Village, and we have a beautiful brand-new grandson in Texas.
